John Deere 7810 vs Fendt 820!

We saw how big of a following the John Deere 7810 and Fendt 820 had after our 'Choose your weapon' post on Facebook which had a very tight result between the two, so we've decided to put the two of them head to head over the next few months! Starting with weights and turning circle! 🚜

A very fine 7810 👍the most 7810 in our area have run 18 to 20K hours.

barry reed's test of putting tractors on the sumo subsoiler is best way to test pulling power & traction, tbh the 7810's exhaust note just wins your heart regardless of the job in hand or what ever brand your loyal to.

I would love to see the two tractors with a front and side/bank/offset mower see which one really bogs down going up hills and which one has the power to slow down going downhill. Hope you guys have a happy 2021!

We bought a 7530 auto power instead of a 820 in 2008. Should have bought the 820! Despite it being 20k more expensive. 7530 was a money pit. Last JD on farm

Those 820s are some beauty, if you can find one with low hours in good nick, they are like hens teeth.

I really love the Idea ! The'es two are Legends and Keepers for there Brand !

The Challenge's that i think gotta be interesting : cultivating, Transport, PTO Work, maintance.... And also figuring out which one can be take easyer to the modern age with isobus, auto steering, load Sensing, tire pressure control and so on.

Its a case of horses for courses. But it the fendt had a trailer/ tanker with steering axle it would come out on top. A 200hp tractor needs a good load
