I bought this bit and the fitfinder the other week, and the biggest challenge I've had is getting the fence at the right depth to get an even joint. I always end up with one board longer than the other because the fence isn't perfect. The height seems like it's a non-issue with the fitfinder, but without trial and error, I can't see a way to make a solid fence setup jig for this. Looks good in video, but I think the setup is more fiddly than this makes it seem.

Is the height of the bit the same on both cuts (flat vs standing)?
