Trump Border visit, live stream: Press Briefing on Border Security and Immigration

President Trump indicated Thursday he will likely declare a national emergency if Congress doesn't reach an agreement to fund his border wall — a move that is sure to set off challenges in the courts if he goes ahead with it. The president made the remarks to reporters on the White House South Lawn ahead of his departure to Texas to survey the southern border.

Mr. Trump arrived in McAllen, Texas, just before 2 p.m. Eastern time, to visit a U.S. Border Patrol station. He now heads to the Rio Grande for a press briefing.

I have a friend that owns a ranch in Texas close to the border. A few hundred acres. not huge but nice. when they built wall through his property and he had no choice and didn't get what he could have gotten if sold his property he lost 20% of his property. the wall doesn't go right on the border. It's on the property adjoining the border and a good distance from the actual border. So if your property actually borders Mexico you aren't going be access the part that is on the Mexican side of wall. The Mexican property line is not close to the wall.
