The HORRIFIC Executions Of The Women Of Auschwitz

During the Second World War, thousands of women found themselves taken from their homes and families and were deported to concentration camps. The largest camp established by the SS and the Third Reich was Auschwitz in Poland, and inside Auschwitz over 1 million people were killed. It was a site of depravity, and the women's camp there was known for being horrific in it's conditions and the guards were very brutal. Thousands of women never made it through the gates of Auschwitz as when they arrived to the camp with their children they were executed and exterminated straight away, being selected to go to the gas chambers.

But inside of the women's camp, there was a large amount of disease and suffering. There was said at one point to be one toilet between 30,000 women and also there was a lack of clean water and food. Thousands of women died from disease, starvation, execution and brutality at the hands of the guards. Female guards such as Irma Grese, Elisabeth Volkenrath and Maria Mandl worked there and were known for killing prisoners with their bare hands, and for setting their dogs onto prisoners. When the camp was liberated, many women were found inside of the camp who were suffering, but many of the stories of the women of Auschwitz remain untold.

I am 85 and remember very clearly the horror of the pictures of the dead being bulldozed into trenches. Arms, legs, heads rolling in a grotesque manner. This is a memory that will stay with me for all of my life.

When my daughter was in middle school they learned about this. There were parents that called complaining that this never happened. I was stunned at the ignorance. History needs to be taught to our young people.

Those who forget history are doomed to repeat it.

My grandmother is a survivor of this horrible camp. The memories she shared are haunting.

Thank you for remembering the victims of this awful incident and telling their stories. The new generations need to learn about what happened to ensure it never happens again. You did a wonderful job at giving them dignity even as they were filmed marching to their death.

Those Nazi's weren't even good enough to be called beasts. And pls don't call them humans. They weren't.

I'm terrified of the fact that so many German soldiers actually took pleasure in killing children. Babies. So many. Its frightens me so much that there are so many monsters in this world and that we live amongst them.

No one should ever forget these atrocities. Heartbreaking and inexcusable.

Watching your father, mother, husband, brother, sister, children being herded into the "other" line...seeing them one last time as they are taken away. I cannot imagine the horror realizing where they were headed to.

Thank you for posting this. I feel not everyone knows just how truly horrible the Holocaust was, and to be seeing this footage and hearing details like this is very important.

Now in 2022, don’t think for a minute this couldn’t happen again. I’m 70 years old my daddy was in the Pacific Rim during the war. He never talked about it. Be strong my friend.

I feel so bad for the ones that lost their lives, such brutal and needless violence, and the ones that had to stay and endure such horrors.

The story must be always told. I look at the innocent faces of the children and babies unknowingly walking to their death and wonder how and why anyone let this happen. Only demons on earth could do such a thing

Un believable how our fellow human beings could inflict such agony and pain on helpless innocent women and children, is beyond belief .I would truly die myself first before i would go down that road .. The anguish and fear for these poor souls must have been un-imaginal "Got it turns my stomach "

It’s interesting that this happened 80 years ago and people think those atrocities aren’t possible today.

There is a special hell for the perpetrators of such acts of great evil.

And to think some people deny that these atrocities happened. So well documented.
