Morgan has always been a fantastic drummer. For me this is the right mix of skill and showcase. I am not a fan of stick tricks and showing off but Morgan makes it part of his character on stage. I have never seen him do anything that I thought was too much or not tongue in cheek. His footwork is massively under rated too. Pieces is a great track to watch live.

The other thing that's remarkable about Morgan is that he's a genuinely nice guy; I've seen him around several shows in Atlanta (he goes to a lot!) and at one of them I was able to introduce him to my daughter who was learning drums. He was super gracious and encouraging and gave her a hug. Class act, in addition to being an absolutely phenomenal drummer and showman.

I've seen Sevendust live probably 25 times now and I've spent at least 10 of those shows just watching Morgan the whole time. He's the most entertaining drummer to watch by far and this is coming from a guitarist who almost always focuses on the guitarists during shows. Morgan is the exception.

It was a real treat to see this whole band at Darien Lake around 2011. Rockstar Uproar. Small stage bands were killer along with the headliners.

Seen SevenDust and Morgan more times than l can count. Top 5 of ALL ) drummers lve ever seen. And lve seen, "The (and a great guy, like all the guys in SevenDust. Always hang out and talk with people after the shows.

He's my favorite (PERCUSSIONIST) Since 1997. Everything I've always wanted to be on my kit. Accents with his bass foot, off beats and back beats are insane. Intricate original beats/rhythms. Then we need to talk about how he writes most of the lyrics and music. Oh nobody talking about how he can play the drums like he does and sing at the same time? Multi talented = Morgan Rose...

It's great to see a drummer that's equal parts comfortable with playing around with drum parts for a song he's been playing for over a decade while still being the backbone of the band. Like I don't know the definition of "in the pocket" to a T, but it feels like Morgan is doing that more often than not

I caught his drumstick at a show in Hampton Beach NH in 2022. My former friend got butthurt because he thought he was entitled to it. Needless to say, I stopped being friends with him after the way he treated me. I also met him and Lajon in the early 2000s when Home came out. It was at the tattoo the earth show.
