The Allstate Hot Chocolate 15K Expo in Charlotte

The Allstate Hot Chocolate race series has two races in which you can participate AND eat chocolate or other sweet goodness on the course. While there is no raceday packet pick-up, The Hot Chocolate 15k/5k race does put on a nice expo for each person to pick up their packets and gear. You also have a chance to check out other running related merchandise and taste some of the the chocolately goodness that awaits the next day.

This is one of the best races in NC with the other being the Iron Clad in Kinston, NC. It was so cold in Charlotte that day. My feet were numb but is was super fun. I enjoyed the route. I hope the pandemic (please go away) doesn't interfere with 2021!!!!
