Brooks B17 Leather Saddle After 8 Months

In this Video I review the Brooks 17 Standard Saddle on my 1980 Peugeot PB 12 after 8 months of usage. How did it hold up? What do I think? Would I buy it Again? I also compare this saddle to the Cinelli Volare on my Colnago Arabesque. Which one is my favorite and the most comfortable?

Best saddle hands down. I have so far 3 Brooks saddles. Swift, B17, and will be a new owner of Flyer Imperial.

I have three Dawes Ultra Galaxy touring bikes all will Brooks B17 saddles. I don't wear padded shorts and I've cycled hundreds of miles over the course of many days and never had a sore backside. They really are magically comfortable.

Thank you for this review. I have two Brooks B17 saddles, one B17 classic and the other B17s (Ladies Standard). I love my B17 classic and cannot get used to the B17s - which is odd as I'm a female rider and the saddle was technically speaking made to fit the female anatomy. But I am incredibly happy wih the B17 and have it installed on my touring bike, which allows me to ride the bike without padded shorts.

Love the brooks saddle, I have 3.Two B17 one on a touring bike, one on a fixed gear and I also have a Brooks swift saddle on a road bike. They are all comfortable saddles.

Nice saddle, I own a similar honey one. Does the letter bag swing much while pedalling? I would like to try it. Regards.

What did you decide on nose position… flat or nose “up”?
