Omg. Thanks so much for your advice!!! I owe it to you and google who allowed me to stumble across your video on YouTube. Can you believe I contacted several locksmiths in my area and none would give your advice?? I realize they're in business to make a profit and giving such advice would make them lose money, but geez, they wanted to charge an arm and a leg! I called about 3 locksmiths to compare prices and all were quoting me at least $130! Add to that, $75/hour for labor. I clearly explained what my problem was over the phone (I all of a sudden was having the toughest time inserting my key and when I would finally get it in, I couldn't turn it) and all just insisted about the cost of a new lock, key and the labor!!! Such a cruel world! Thanks to your video, all I had to spend was $5.00 and it worked so effortlessly! All I had to do was spray a bit in the lock and bingo! My key inserted effortlessly and turned without a problem!!! Thanks so much!!!

My apartment key was becoming an absolute nightmare. So I transferred some graphite from a pencil onto the key, and also used a sharp knife to scrape some more graphite from the pencil onto a piece of folded paper, which I then used to blow the graphite into the lock slot. Following that with several insertions and withdrawals of the key, it now feels like there is almost no resistance at all when both inserting and removing the key. This must have cost me at least a massive 0.5 cents worth of graphite that was removed from my pencil.

Thanks so much for posting this video my key all of a sudden stopped working I could barely get my key in the lock yesterday today I got a tube of extra fine graphite. I asked if they had this extra fine graphite for locks they said oh we don't know but why don't you just use WD 40 I said because it's not what I'm looking for and WD will make my problem worse I got them to hunt down the extra fine graphite because I could see they had a tube in stock. Thanks to this video my door works like new

Thanks so much! Worked like a charm! Now my locks are as smooth as a baby's bottom. 🤣. This only started after I got my house pressure washed, so I'm thinking all the dust, dirt, and water flying around clogged it up. Thanks again!

Thank you so much. IToday almost couldn't get my key to go in. I had to juggle it in just to grab my wallet in the house and off to home depot to buy this. Works like a charm! You're the best.

Thanks very much! Watching this in January 2023, since I'm having this problem now. Have you ever heard of "lock bumping"? That is a technique some thieves use to loosen someone's locks over time with the ultimate goal of robbing their homes. One of the signs someone has been "bumping" your lock is its loosening over time. I guess the goal is to damage the tumblers inside the lock so thieves can break in with a more generic key. Do you think there is merit in replacing your locks periodically? It's fairly easy to do since you have the proper cuttings in the door already. I'd appreciate learning your thoughts if you still check old video comments. Happy New Year!

What if the key is stuck in the door, can I spray the graphite powder around it while the key is still in there?
