Thanks, you are the only video showing the Acton of the bladed disk. All the other carving videos are Yap-Yap. Big mouths.

I make bowls. I was curious about the necessary handling of this disc with six raised tungsten carbide bits. Delicate control or controlled bowl grinding with sides is best described as hazardous. I have two broken fingers that I'm getting over!. Grinding into end grain is the most hazardous. If the disc bites into the work, the force is far too much to handle, even for solid wrists like mine. As in the video, working up and down the grain is easy as long as the width of the wood or work is 3" wide. Discs with raised barbs vary in aggressiveness. To reduce the disc digging in and spinning out of control, I drilled 3/8" holes thereby reducing the surface area.
