Dani Speegle vs. Laura Horvath in Sandbag Race at the 2023 Rogue Invitational

The bracket-style event, The Duel III, pitted Dani Speegle and Laura Horvath against each other in a fight for first.

Both contenders were consistently leading the pack after each round, and by the final elimination, it was time to lay it all out on the floor.

In a photo-finish race to the end, Speegle edged out overall leader Horvath by just over a tenth of a second. Speegle took 100 points for her event win, jumping from 17th place to 13th, while Horvath holds tight to her lead.

“It was awesome. It was really fun,” Horvath said.
