Giselle was actually worth more than Tom, and to still demand 1/2 his wealth, yet she cheated on him, and filed for divorce, is just an entitlement women have come to expect.

It is NOT planning for failure. It is planning for reality. The world ain't Disney or Hallmark.

The notion of a flawless marriage or relationship is a myth. There's no set formula for success; what works for one couple may not work for another. Yet, I've discovered that there's always a way forward, even in the most challenging times. Five years ago, my wife and I encountered significant hurdles in our marriage that nearly led to divorce. Despite the adversity, we managed to weather the storm and emerge from it with our bond renewed and revitalised

I got divorced without a prenup, ex didn't work for 7 of the 9 years. Didn't do anything around the house. Wouldn't have sex with me. Lied to me & cheated on me and left me for another man. Took half of my 401k and half of the equity of the house AND I have to pay alimony. I will NEVER get married again without a Ironclad prenup.

Before I got married, I signed a prenup.

My wife to be came from a family with some (not excessive) wealth, and I was bringing some furniture, a load of books, a motorcycle, and a couple of grand to the relationship, and her father insisted.

Didn’t bother me in the slightest, so I signed without hesitation.

This year we celebrated 24 years together.

They don't want the pre-up, they want everything.

They won't sign a prenup contract that guarantees fairness but expect you to sign a marriage contract that they are incentivized to break.

This video and all others like it reminds me how much of a unicorn my wife is cause she actually tells me what's wrong when I ask her about it and she genuinely wants to make sure I'm OK when I'm down.

Asking Steve Harvey for marital advice is like asking the devil for salvation.

That is why men don't want to get married anymore. I'm not giving you a penny, I will keep my millions to myself. I have busted my ass off to get to where I am today and no single woman is going to take that away from me.

It's called "hope for the best, prepare for the worst." I'd rather have a contract in place and not need to use it than not have one and wish I did. This is my livelihood on the line.

I have a prenup and my wife had no problem with it. We have been together for 19 years and still going strong. She has never been materialistic and is a kind woman, who never put her self first. She was a virgin when I met her, so body count matters. If you are going to marry anyone, set very high standards and accept no red flags. Look after what kind of guy she has dated before, if you are not the type she normally dates, chances are you are the beta provider and not first choice.

50% of marriages every 5 years end in divorce. If you wanted to marry at 30 and go the distance (let's just approximate that to 80 years old, so 50 years of marriage) you roughly have a 1 in 1000 chance. It's never a question of "if" a relationship will fail, it's just a question of "When".

A prenup is not a plan b.
Is insurance a plan b if you get sick?
Is insurance a plan b if you crash your car?
Do you expect to get sick or crash your car?

The best way to avoid issues with an ex wife is to not have a wife in the first place.

A prenup is like insurance. You’re not buying it expecting to need to use it, but it’s nice to have as a precaution.
