This has been My favourite song since I was young. Though most of her songs touches and lift my soul🙏. I remember my father bought me this Cassette. And when I grew up, I managed to buy myself it's DVD and Mom Rebecca Malope was performing it in Israel🙏🙏🙏. It Blesses me a lot and by that time I listened without knowing or understanding it's meaning coz I'm a Tsonga lady and a granddaughter of Zulus... But my growing made me know it's meaning.

People whom you've come to show the way to, to teach the truth to, to teach them how to pray, to save them from eternal torture of hell. People you have only demonstrated love to and taught them pure love.

People who then turned on you to accuse you of falsehood; give you whiplashes; insult and spit on you; make you wear a crown of thorns on your head😭; make you carry a very heavy cross without help😭; rip your clothes apart share them without your permission; pierce your hands and feet with nails crucifying you; pierce your side with a sharp spear... And when you ask for water to drink they instead give you gall to drink 😭

I can only imagine being a parent and seeing your own child go through this, being a sister/brother and seeing your sibling go through all this😭...

And at that point He is purely innocent, He only came to show us the right path, to love us... But instead we cause Him all this pain🥺😭.

Oh Lord Jesus forgive us our sins, the price you have paid for our purchase is so dire and we can never be deserving of it... We thank you for your grace that saw it fitting for me as a sinner to come back to you 🙏😭 and for your blood that covers and washes my sins away🥺... Help us not to be too proud to recognize this price you've paid with your own life.

Lord Jesus, you are our Lord oh King of kings... Help us to turn away from sin and fix our eyes on you always 😭🙏.
