Netwrap Answers?!?

YouTube viewers responded with suggestions for solving my netwrap problems on the New Holland RB 450 round baler and one suggestion led me to discover a problem. Now we have to get back in the field to test the baler.

Given how the right clip is bent it looks like it is a victim of operators shoving the net roll on too exuberantly, then the clip gets popped over a groove at a time. Having the roll that far off center will cause problems. One other thing, I can’t tell if that is a 48” or 51” roll. My suggestion would be to run 48” in those machines. NH round balers do a good job of spreading the net, they will pull 48” net over the edge of the bale by a few strands. 48” net will probably be a little more forgiving about being off center.

Are you running 48 or 51" wide net wrap?
