If the orbit is perfectly circular then the orbit is slower but if it's an oval well...jebediah you better hold on.

I think the best way is to have a station in equatorial orbit and launch your craft into equatorial orbit, it’s easier because you already have a coplaner orbit, then use the maneuver nodes to get your encounter like he said in the the rest to him

its really difficult still but at least I managed to do it. I wish you could maybe copy the orbit of your target and make it a maneuver for easier burns and much much more precise docking

Is it possible, that the two docking ports are not automatically connecting with each other, when the two crafts are too big?
