For those of you who don’t know the story, basically, the black and white (swift paw) wanted to work with the other apprentices to drive out the pack of dogs by snakerocks; the white and orange (bright paw) was the only one to agree to go with him. However, in the end they were outnumbered and overwhelmed by the amount of dogs leaving Swiftpaw dead and Brightpaw severely injured.

I can only imagine the pain Swiftpaw felt when he watched Brightheart get named Lostface, become mates with the cat that pretty much killed him and Brightheart make it far in life with him still stuck forever known as an apprentice who stupidly died to a pack of dogs.
