who came up with this extremely antiintuitive syntax of @0, -100 and @100, 0 ? Was it not easier to just type the number and use the angle direction that the mouse was pointing at?
or that was somehow patented by Autocad?

This method is totally fine. Though I prefer just being able to type in the length (it would be much faster for me), this method is not slow.

How do I add the toolbar at the top-- the one next to the layers toolbar--the one that says middle points, length, etc? thank you!

Is it possible to draw with Autocad style? Just pointing the direction with mouse and enter line lenght without adding @?
