New computer Aug 8th, 2013, with Win 8. Installed and running Reaper with my m audio fastrack ultra 8r and everything running smoothly. Win 8 is different, but not the problems most are saying. A little patience and it is rewarded with a great system!

none have an m audio driver but their for win 7 they work fine here as for audio vst and daws they all work fine cubase, nuendo, protools, studio one, flstudio, live, etc i have tested the major ones slight issue with avid but it was fixed

Other than Metro, it pretty much an upgrade to Windows 7 in every other facet. But judging by your icon choice, you're a linux person? I would be too if I didn't need a stable platform for audio production.

yes i use linux have a duel boot but as you said crappy audio production support
