The swap back has nothing to do with the chassis. Steel or aluminum does that. Bottoming hard does that regardless pf the frame material.

When you say 185 should go up a spring on the shock, is that 185 in gear?

All of the tests on this bike run with the stock air box cover, and say that the power is a bit muted by the standard cover. The bike does come with a slotted cover as an accessory, however. Does the application of the slotted cover make the power characteristics of this bike more like its orange brother?
