This session explores how The High-Value Manufacturing Catapult, UK’s strategic research & innovation hub for industry, operates and how it is responding to the UK’s areas of importance for manufacturing. We will share use cases that show how IoT is enabling data-centric manufacturing and how capture, movement and analysis of data is helping make better decisions, removing non-value-added activity, driving productivity, sustainability and better jobs. We will explore different stages of the lifecycle and focus on novel sensors, 5G, AI machine learning and close-loop adaptive control systems.
