The current distance records for recurve field bows is over 720m, for compound bows it's 1207m, the crossbow record it's 1, 871m. For the traditional English wood longbow it's about 412m, for Turkish horn bow it's 566m.The unlimited conventional recurve flight bow record is 1, 222m. That's for guys who know what a real 45 degree angle looks like...

You guys are so funny to watch, a couple of amigos laughing and having the best of fun! Who gives a shit if it is scientific or calculated, it was just 2 guys having fun in the desert. People relax and simply enjoy it for what it is and if it means nothing to you just move on and leave no comment. I have been hunting for over 40 years, spent 12 years in the special forces, and I currently have begun to big bore air rifling and bow hunt.
