I think that if the beam is at equilibrium, the reaction forces of the pulley B are the tension force components...Moreover, in 6:30 you considered two tension forces acting on the y direction which does not make sense. The tension is one, you should've taken it downward according to the force of gravity ...tho

I learned from our prof that if the given is in upward direction, we must consider it negative.
Question: Why in this problem you consider 6 m/s^2 as positive?

Hello, why is Tension T upwards till 3:51 seconds of the video, but when you draw the diagram of the pulley, Tension T is downwards? Please reply soon

At 6:40 why did you take 2 tension forces whereas there is 1 cable?
