Americans are the hardest working people in the world. We don’t mind working a TINY bit of free OT or answering an email or two on vacation. Just don’t demand it from us. But we generally are willing to work SOME for free and A BIT on our breaks. I’m sick of every boomer CEO trying to gaslight us and claim young Americans are lazy. We are objectively the hardest workers in the world (or at least first world) and we aren’t lazy we just want our salaries to be able to afford houses and cars and food 🙄
