Battery got better after a week. Having 6hrs+ sot before and now i can get it to 8hrs+ (depends on the usage). SD variant.

i got scared looking at all the battery complaints on the s22 ultra, but still got it anyway. Glad i got it. I am left with about 40% by my end of day for my needs. That's more than enough performance for me. yay.

I had mine for over two weeks (Exynos) and battery was very poor, struggling to get 3hrs SoT! It is also very laggy. No change after it settling down. I have done a factory restore and will not copy over so that I can see if that makes a difference. Not impressed so far but others are getting better if not great battery so I am hoping this works. Otherwise it is returning to Samsung.

Where do you get those good numbers? My ultra's "5000 mAh" battery does not perform any better than my old LG G6's battery "3300 mAh" (it was amazing). I missed LG phones.

I'm getting a solid 7 1/2 hours of screen ontime. 5G turned off, QHD plus 120HZ Dark Mode on Auto. Locations set to Only While Using Apps. This is across both a wifi and cell service connection. Solid video brother 👌

I would love to see a video on your battery saving tips or your setting, because I usually only get about 6 hrs of SOT. Usually off the charger for about 18hrs. Im happy with 6 but would be nice for more.

This Ultra is a good looking phone with a great camera and nice features. We all know that Iphone 13 pro max has the best battery between all smartphones right now and very good management between Hardware and OS. Samsung have to update his phone to calibrate battery drain (it's not optimized well). For a normal usage you can have a full entire day but if you are 100% every day on your phone you cannot sadly.

Quick tips:
1. Use bixby routine to turn on slow charge at night. And turn off mobile data while wifi is connected. It run automatically
2. Setting -privacy
Usage & diagnostics turn off
Send diagnostic data turn off
You would have a much better battery life.
3. If you dont use volte. Just turn it off. IMS service can eat quite alot battery

You must have gotten that one in a million phones. I’ve had this phone a week and my battery is trash 4-5 hours SOT on average, 6 is the best I’ve gotten. I’m lost how you got basically 8 hours.

What is the standby time, sot does not matter if standby is not good, if used at a stretch it may give desired sot
