Vlogmas # 7 2016, YouTubers How To Make Easy Homemade Christmas Cards with Buttons, Simple Designs for Handmade Christmas Cards, Crafting Tutorial / Arts and Crafts
Vlogmas Day 7 NiliPOD Christmas YouTube Video - December 7th
I've been excited to film Vlogmas for pretty much the entire year (thanks in no small part to Zoella / Zoe Sugg - 24 Days of Zoella, Niomi Smart and Tanya Burr) and I will be uploading festive themed vlogs for every day of December, right up until Christmas Day.
This is my seventh Christmas vlog / Vlogmas and features me having a crafting session, making my own easy handmade / homemade Christmas cards. I love making my own cards, because they are extra special when you give them to friends, and they would cost so much if you bought them in a shop, like PaperChase, Clintons Cards or WHSmith.
So, I thought I'd include my annual Christmas card making session on my YouTube Vlogmas vlog, and video how to make them - a bit like a step by step tutorial. The designed as incredibly simple and the cards are very easy to make in a matter of minutes. I use coloured card (from The Range), paper punches with snowflake and tree designs (from HobbyCraft, eBay and Amazon), glue (clear silicon sealant and Pritt stick / glue stick), 'Merry Christmas' stamps, Spectrum Noir felt pens, a Tippex correction pen (for snowflakes) and lots and lots of buttons (from my sewing kit and from eBay).
The homemade Christmas card designs that I made for this 'how to make' Vlogmas include a Santa belly buttons, a snowman from white buttons, a festive wreath, a simple snowflake design on black card, Christmas trees, a cartoon penguin with googly eyes, and some cute reindeer. These simple homemade Christmas cards are just a few ideas to hopefully inspire you to make the effort to make your own, and maybe save some money making them in the process. This kind of winter, festive Xmas crafting is perfect for families, where you can involve young children and kids, and the cards would be ideal for children to send and receive themselves.
Lots of YouTubers, vloggers, children and kids like to film vlogmas themed videos and vlogs for their YouTube channels. My favourites include Zoella (More Zoella / Zoe Sugg) and her daily Vlogmas vlogs, as well as her 24 Days of Zoella Christmas videos. When it omes to YouTube videos, Zoella is basically the queen. Other YouTubers who I love watching at Christmas time include Alisha Marie Vlogs, Claire Marshall, Eva Marisol, Evette XO, Grace & Grace, Jeanine TV, Jim Chapman, Julien Solomita, Lily Pebbles , Miranda Sings (Colleen Ballinger), Niomi Smart, Sharmander, Soph Does Nails, Summer Mckeen, Tanya Burr, Thatcher Joe Vlogs (Joe Sugg), The Roxetera, Vlogs By DK4L and WahlieTV - amongst many, many others.
I've also noticed some great Vlogmas videos and vlogs this year from YouTubers such as Alisha Marie Vlogs, Amelia Liana, Claudia Sulewski, Eva Marisol, Extrasunbeamsjess, FleurDeVlog, HappilyAHousewife, Its JoJo Siwa, Lauren Orlando, Maddi Bragg, Mattn Kayleigh, Meghan Hughes Vlogs, Mia Stammer, Nikki Blackketter, PressHeartToContinue, RemLife, Sierra and Alex, Sophie Foster, Sophie Louise, Tiffany Ma, Tom Fletcher and Vlogs by Meredith. Check out 24 Days of Zoella too.
