I love the sound of this one. I think that 1050 is a good OG for a pilsner. I prefer lagers to be around 5% ABV, which you should hit. Great point about experimenting in brewing - it’s part of learning what works best for you. Looking forward to the tasting video. Cheers!

Great brew Dino and it’s going to be another tasty one. I can’t wait to get brewing again but I a have had Covid last two weeks so just no energy at the moment for anything.
Cheers mate and Happy New a year👍

I was very impressed with the Novalager yeast too. Very clean finish and good temp range. I don't know about cultivating it or re-pitching from the secondary fermenter. Anybody have experience with it? I may move to the Farmhouse yeast as our temps here in Colorado warm.

Great video as always. This is a style folks talk about a lot so it's probably time I brewed one. Never used Motueka but I've got some on hand. I've often thought of getting a hop spider. My local shop has one. But I've heard of brewers getting mixed results. Do you still sometimes use it on your full size batches? Or do you just use it post-boil to strain out debris going into the fermenter? Obviously nothing beats chucking the hops direct into the boil. Cheers!🍺🍻
