I love how they show Okuyasu being a genuinely decent person. He scolds Josuke when he thinks he's going to abandon Koichi. He's really a sweet guy that's just in a very unfortunate situation...
His older brother, who has his respect and complete trust, has the "good" motive of wanting to fix their father. Okuyasu doesn't like that others are dying to make it happen, but he loves his brother and doesn't have the required experience to be independent, so he goes along with it.
Tragic, but heartwarming all the same when we see how much he cares about his friends in the future.

I loved how they made Okuyasu a really bad stand user, but with a op stand, so he can develop during the series, different from part 3 where everyone was a stand master. His stans is probably even better than josuke´s if mastered.
