Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers says there's "no drama" surrounding his position
SOUNDBITE (English) Brendan Rodgers (on his position as Liverpool manager):
"The first point is I don't feel any pressure whatsoever. I can honestly say that and you guys (reporters) have seen me now for a while.
For me, my job is to worry about the team and that is the only pressure I will ever feel"
SOUNDBITE (English) Brendan Rodgers:
If we're going to replicate what we did a couple of years ago, we have to build something here again. And it's going to take time unfortunately. It is frustrating because for supporters of the club who've watched us grow for a couple of years, nearly win the league, and then to lose the quality of players we have, that can be very frustrating. But there's new players to come in so it's going to take time whether that's me or someone else in the job and whilst it's me I will continue to devote every ounce to the football club and to the players to make them the best that we can be.
SOUNDBITE (English) Brendan Rodgers:
And I think you see from the beginning of the season to now it's obviously grown. Unfortunately people will want to put pressure on for whatever reason but I don't feel it, I don't want it, I just feel the pressure to win from myself and obviously worry about the team. But anything outside of that externally, there's no drama."
