The Hysterscopic Sterilization Procedure for women has allowed sterilization to occur in an office setting with women fully awake (though slightly sedated). This has created a very safe option for women.

It is a permanent form of contraception that is 99% effective.

Hystescopic sterilization allows women to receive this procedure in an in office setting. In addition, there is a minimal recovery time, there isn't a need to take a full day off of work and the anesthetic is much less.

The procedure itself has the physician place special coils inside of the fallopian tubes. Over approximately three months time, scarring forms causing the fallopian tubes to become sealed.

This is an incisionless procedure. There are no incisions and no stitches. The pain and recovery are much less than other sterilization procedures.
