I'm exhausted just watching Jay do this so many times

As someone who hardly ever ride but moves it around way more often in my garage, I never thought of lifting from the rear tire. Genius! Thank you

Been standing bikes my whole life and just learned (the hard way) how bad technique can really hurt your back, thanks for this!

Heres a tip from a lifetime racer. Stand on the right side of the bike and use the front brake to help you lift the rear. Makes it VERY easy.

I'm a 5 foot tall rider, I've been riding for years and never been able to put my bike on a stand since it's almost as big as me haha. I've never seen anyone putting their bike on a stand using the rear wheel, so I tried it and it worked!! It was even easier than I thought!

Than you so much for posting this. Excited to learn to ride my 1st dirt bike and all the “simple” tricks like the ones in your video.

Thanks for sharing, I feel like an idiot having to watch a video on how to use a bike stand but this was very helpful.

Great tips. Been trying to figure out how to comfortably get my Varg onto its colossally high stand.

Thank you. I watched this but forgot how you did it. I was breaking my back and had to come watch again.

I almost have more fun maintaining my bike than actually riding it. Nothing like a nice clean and greased up machine

I always like leaning over the bike and grabbing the swingarm to lift it. Had a customers bike onetime with a zip tied rear fender I didnt know about, pop!

Good to know. My stand is hydraulic and goes up and down but just barely too tall to slide under the bike at the lowest setting

Good video, what about if you have a skid plate fitted? Same yea?

I grab on the frame right above where the pipe is & that works well for me

Super helpful, thanks so much! I'm coming from street bikes so I'm used to center-stands and rear-stands, but had no idea how to use one of these. I can't even check chain tension (properly, per the book at least) without one so I'm off to CycleGear. I can't get over how damned light these bikes are...literally half of what I'm used to. It feels like pushing an E-bike around, not even exaggerating.

I like the rear tire lift I’m going to try that next time. And I can lift my bike pretty easy because I’m tall and decently fit having a construction job with lots of lifting heavy stuff

Hey Jay, If I have room, I stand to the right side of the bike and reach over and grab the side stand . This is on a KTM 200 and a Husky TE125
