Genshin *getting lazy* is technically wrong, because they have already been lazy af like since early 2022 not only recently. Back then they already knew that at the time they already had the luxury of treating their players like sh*t because of a complete and utter lack of competition.

Now it's going to be different specially when Kuro, Hoyo's direct competitor made sure to actually give players almost all the things that were lacking in Genshin, and that's a lot.

That always happens on any new game. Happened with Tower of fantasy, HSR and so on.

My prediction is that Wuthering waves will compete with Genshin in the long run so we might have a back and forth between Genshin, HSR and Wuthering waves which is normal.

I have no idea why people are putting Wuthering waves and Kuro games on a Giant pedestal. Don’t get me wrong I am looking fwd to the game, but most of the community is given them the unbiased opinion in the positive direction for Wuthering waves as the extreme hate Hoyoverse games get.

Neither game is perfect and the experience varies with each persons play style. We also are getting people stating that Wuthering waves is a better game when the game hasn’t even been released to the public and there has been a multitude of updates on both betas. No one is giving the poor game time to breath…😒

Honestly, the charts don't show anything unusual.
The new 'Savior of the Faithful' title will drop in 5 days so the hype is as big as possible. Let's see their revenue in, let's say, 3 to 6 months and that will be something to chew on.
