We all want to achieve success in life but seldom do we realize that really successful people hold experiences beyond the mental realms of normal people. It is said that it is not our qualification but the exposure that we have, the stories that we have heard, or the experiences that we have had in our lives that truly shape ourselves, and change our lives to who we are.

We're often wondering, what's the one work I want to do for the rest of my life. Stories are often a fascinating teacher for that. For Rajan, these series of stories started when he moved to a big town from a small town and was exposed to aspirational career options like IIT, IPS, and MBA. Having cracked some of the world's toughest exams, served the country as an IPS Officer after clearing the UPSC CSE exam, he was always intrigued to make a bigger impact. He reveals the best piece of career advice and shares instances from his life, helpful in choosing a successful career and how to be successful.

Watch IPS Rajan's inspirational journey, as he unveils his quest to find the right direction towards success, and what made him move ahead of his prestigious IPS Officer job to make an impact on the lives of millions.

IPS Rajan Singh is the Founder and CEO of Concept Owl, where he helps people change their lives through their Learning Accelerator Bootcamps and other habit-building programs.

Question is, are you happy now? After a PhD from Germany, I am currently scientist in Sweden. I used to motivate younger people to study hard and do PhD etc. But recently I stopped doing that. Why? I realized happiness in life does not depend on your career success. Whatever you do, normally you get compared to people around you. Like in science world, I am still just a small scientist. If I had not studied at all and stayed in my village doing farming, fellow farmers could be my friends and I think I could have a happier and simpler life. Conclusion: Only thing which brings a true happiness is when you do something for others. What you do for your career is your personal business. Dr. Sumit Deswal

Summary:
The speaker is a Ex-IPS officer Rajan sing.
Short story:
He first studied hard and get into IIT, after 4 years of IIT he disliked corporate job and studied hard for civils and became IPS after some years of experience he got bored and disliked the job and quitted and again joined MBA at 30 and completed and did jobs in business sector and here also he didn't liked and he thought this is not suitable for him and finally became entrepreneur by providing high class education for rural students.

Moral of the talk:
1.It's ok to leave what you don't like and find what you enjoy and do it at any age and circumstances. You have to feel happy when look back from 60 or 70's age.
2.Try hard, be patient, push yourself, you will definitely achieve what you want.
Sometimes you may fail but you have keep trying definitely you will achieve it irrespective of the age. Until you quits yourself ther is a chance to succed in life till death and you definitely succed if you give your 100%.

Long story:
He is a introvert in the childhood, and he don't wont to talk people and even don't want play with friends. His father was a officer, and he generally get transfers.
In childhood he lives in a small town and then his father got transferred to another big city Ahmedabad, he got to know about IITs there and he dreamt of getting admission there and studied really hard and finally he managed to get admission in IIT kanpur and 4 years passed and completed his graduation, he didn't liked the normal corporate jobs, he wanted something challenging and find about Civil services. He started preparing for civils.
He believes one thing that hardwork pays off, as he was already slogged to into IIT, in the same way slogged and in return he became IPS officers.
Initially that service was new and challenging and as years passed on he was bored with repetitive job style, when he was 60 or 70 he didn't want to feel regret when he look back and after several deliberations and against all advises he quitted the job.
He haunted for what he likes and he finally want to do MBA and he worked hard ko clear exams and managed to get into best MBA university at the age of 30 and after two years of completion of MBA he did jobs but he didn't liked that field also, and he quitted and finally became an entrepreneur by creating a platform to provide high quality education to rural students.
Why he choose do do this because if he didn't went to Ahmedabad, then he continues to study in small town and he would never went to IIT even having talent.
He considered this point and thought about it that there are several talented students in rural ares, because they don't have oppurtunities they are not leading a good life, so he currently providing high class education for them and making their future bright.
The story ends here.

The whole talk is about, perception of life 'on one's take'. And he has accomplished quite everything he had aimed & aced it. The irony that I saw through all the conversations about which career is better, using his IPS (ex-IPS) tag to work his favor, .. and many. Doesn't prove a point.
What he simply states is " Follow your heart & what u are passionate about".
Don't live for the sake of 'what society might say '..

"Life is once we live Mr. Rajan has quoted this line everywhere he spoke.
And
We need not take life for granted, to prove others that we belong here, by doing what others want us to, but by living true to us.

Irony: about people who talk about him. Must think about 'how much have ourself achieved to criticize him'

I lived like you. So I very well know how you have seen the world from inside and outside.
Though some of your videos I am not completely agree with. But I must say you are a great man. My hats off to you. There may be hardly one or two who supported in your difficult path. My hats off to them also. Burning yourself and in that light going ahead. You have lived your life like this. I am proud of you.
May God bless you.
Thanks

daily you have 24 hours to live how consciously and productively you use these incoming hours doing something you really care to do, this is what is success, its not in the future or at some point of time in life ...because when u will look back after few years you will realize there was no singel day in my life which i had wasted in something worthless, that is success, its not something which will happen after 10 years from now its something we will do today
