Dynamic lights: Many (100)
Projectile Lights: X

Shadow Resolution: 8192 (highest your pc can handle)

Fog Depth Mode: Dynamic

The biggest changes to performance will be in Draw Distance, Level of Detail, Shadow settings, and Object/Ground Textures I have found. Happy HD Scaping!

Probably a hot take…but I mean this: I actually have more time to read quest dialogue when using the quest helper plugin.

This feels less about the plug-in and more about how you feel towards runelite. I never understood your argument towards runelite. If you don’t like it don’t use it essentially, because I mean quest guides videos and walkthroughs weren’t released with the game but are integral part of it but could be considered cheating because you’re having someone walk you through it step by step. The game is defined by each person playing their part. You have so many different ways to play the game, you said if we were to look at this in the past it would be considered cheating, but again that doesn’t make sense because if something gets easier it doesn’t mean it’s cheating. There are plenty of in game mechanics that haven’t been updated and should’ve been and that’s what runelite introduces are player decided plug ins. I think it’s ideas like that why the game won’t change. We like osrs the way we got it back then but it’s not old school anymore it is its own game now and that’s okay. There is a lot of room to grow and have fun. There are even videos of guys who play exactly how the game was released in 07 so I mean anything after that could be considered easy mode and cheating so 🤷‍♂️

Your opinion of the quest helper has always confused me. I’ve been playing since 06 and I have never paid attention to a quest since vampire slayer. I always just do a step, read the next step, do the step. I think most people like me wouldn’t consider it cheating, they’d consider is convenient. But maybe I’m wrong

95% OF THE COMMUNITY DOESN'T LIKE QUESTS!!! Just the rewards lmao. I just wouldn't do them or pay to have them done otherwise. I'm too old to spend hours doing shit I don't wanna do. I don't mind them at all with quest helper though.

Quest Helper and Clue Helper aren't too different from just having the Wiki guides up for them. Aside from how they guide you through puzzles.

And Jagex being keen on adding the Clue Helper into the Official Client I do feel is a no no, at least in the way Runelite does it.Having a HUD display the current step from your clue or quest I think is fine, though.

Basically, just put in an overlay whatever it says on your Clue Scroll or in-game Quest Guide. No additional hints it helpm
