I am very picky about what books I will decide to read. It is wild that you play Dollar Tree roulette. I also only keep books that I may reread too and reread these good books after I am discouraged by reading a bunch of stinkers in a row .I enjoyed your Walden hating passion. I have never unhauled books.
Unless You count letting someone borrow a book, and never getting it back.
Hard 2 believe, but I was a Altar Boy for years, a long long time ago in a galaxy far far away.😁
That must be the only Michael Crichton book I haven't read. 🤷‍♂️

An unhaul yay!! 35 books?! That's awesome! I've only read the first Percy Jackson and I enjoyed it! I couldn't get into The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo either! It didn't have a great flow

Don't worry I've got about 50 books I haven't even read plus another 50ish that I have read and I can't get rid of any!

Oh, you should definitely read Mere Mere Christianity! You would like that much better, I think. I cannot stand Walden for so many reasons, one major one is, as you touch on, he is oblivious to the fact that no one but the very privileged can do what he did. But I have so many reasons on why it is trash. I look forward to your rant on that one. 😂
