Ktm 520 sx

its my first ride on this bike, i just bought a 2002 ktm 520 sx for my track and trail bike gotta keep the kx 250 for the ramps

Hey I'm looking at a 02 525 sx for 1500 says "Runs awesome and needs nothing" are they good reliable bikes? how often will I have to rebuild it if I do get one, It would be a daily rider for me.

well its my 2nd bike i ever owned and the first 2 stroke i ever owned and hoping next summer to sell it and up 2 a 250 i think mines pretty damn fast lol that power band just wants the bike to flip over and man it just wants to get away from me you really gotta hold on my old 4 stroke was real easy to control lol

Man i crashed a year ago pullin a 5th gear wheelie on the road just like that lol got hit suddenly by wind, threw me right to the ground .

Once you feel like you have mastered the 125 then I would move up to a 250, Actually your bike history is really close to mine, My first bike was a 95 dr 125 (4 stroke) it topped out at 55mph xDD but was a really fun bike, then I moved up to the Yz 125, then to my kx 250, And Now I don't plan on buying another bike for a long time, Unless I want to get crazy and get a 500 cc 2 stroke, Because my bike will already keep up with my buddy's 450(4 stroke) :D, Happy riding bro!

Yep you got it bro!:D, I keep my bike at 32:1, Also my bike is piped with a fmf gnarley and a turbine core 2 silencer It was jhetted for the exhaust from the previous owner ;), vforce3 reed valves and 15-48 gearing and my bike will top out at 72 in I would say like 5-8 sec xD, I got a video of me pinning my 250 for a buddy here on youtube, @ stroke 4 life braaap!:D, How do you like your yz 125?(: I used to have one before I got my 250

lol i started on a dr125 too lol then i got this yz thats pretty cool if anything im gettin a 250 2 stroke im not exactly a fan of the 4 strokes anymore but if i could id probably get a 450 4 stroke and do they make 450s 2 strokes or is that just 500s

oh i bet lol yea 2 strokes dont blow up very often just as long as you mix the gas right yea i have a two stroke its a yz125 shes pretty relaible too so i wasnt haitn on the 2 strokes lol

Hey.
So i expect some help from you.
Just bought same bike, its all perfect but one thing.
So i have a little problems with engine start and when i ride it, lets say 40mph and holding gas in one position its gabbles, but when i give more gas it speeds up perfectly.
And if im on neutral it can just turn off by itself, like its working working... and then just leaves on storke behing.

Haha omg that's a weird coincadince xD, As far as I know the only 2 strokes are 65 cc 80cc 85 cc 100cc 125cc 150cc 200cc 250 cc 300cc and 500cc, Yamaha does make a yz490 but's it's basicly a 500, Yeah I'm a 2 stroke boy as well once I felt the raw power difference Lol, And for the record and I'm sure you know this a 500cc 2 stroke bike will rape any 450 4 stroke :D atleast until the 500 tops out lol
