I think it works as follows;

No + = low work rate
1 + =Med work rate
++ = High work rate

With work rates activating in transition, without the ball to with the ball or visa versa

I’m all for the Rush gameplay, giving EA the benefit of the doubt right now. However would be nice to have different objectives within it. Like goals scored, assists etc.

Not sure I'd say the promo is much earlier than usual because of the new format. Unless you consider 2 days earlier than last year to be much earlier I guess.
