Elon's got a hell of a job ahead of him. But criticism doesn't amount to incitement, the speech of one does not make one accountable for the harassment for others, and this was already well-known by the man's critics (and selectively not applied here), as many of them were divisive and mega-critical of other major figures long before the Twitter takeover happened.

Also, the biases of the council had been picked apart over a year ago already. Elon has seen firsthand how such biases can generate an unethical consensus behind closed doors, as we can now also see clearly in the Twitter Files. So if a review council is indeed necessary for Twitter to maintain order, it would've needed to be remade to match his standards anyway (which I would at least hope would have even representation of publicly viable viewpoints, though he has shown a couple biases of his own, so doubt on this point is quite fair).

No. I think he has several PR teams making sure he is everywhere. Being everywhere does not equate being popular. / $11US a month for twitter? That is close to you tube's $12 US. Not sure how twitter even comes close as far as value education and entertainment. Now I am feeling you tube will raise its premium price bc of it. I hope not.

I dont have a twitter account. I would consider $2 a month as more appropriate. In line w, for example, many news outlets. Almost $100 a year for twitter? No. Far too pricey for what it us in context to every other entity trying to get a hold of my wallet. And why would I join a medium that is letting me know my tweets will be buried and I will have to look at more ads? And further, if my activity catches negative attention, I could suffer?

All in all, if I have to pick btwn Twitter for 11$ or YouTube for $12, it is you tube all the way. Plus i get so much twitter exposure just watching you tube reporting of people tweeting on twitter.
