Virtual Production Booth at Xposure 2024

The Xposure 2024, photography and film industry fair was held in Sharjah from February 28 to March 5. On this occasion, together with Garage Studio and Sentient by Elysian, we have prepared an installation based on Virtual Production.

I can probably say that it was the largest Video Booth in the world and so far the first application of this type in trade fair conditions that has ever been created.

During the 7 days of the fair, we changed the environment three times, going from a camp of Roman soldiers in a burning forest, through a scenario inspired by the @netflix film entitled SEE, to the desert with a caravan and an atmosphere inspired by game Cyberpunk2077 and TV series Breaking Bad.

In cooperation with Sentien by Elysian, we prepared an application thanks to which, using a touch screen, visitors to the stand could register in the database and then stand in front of the newest Sony Burano camera mounted on Zinema robotic arm (Digitech) to record a several-second video clip in accordance with one of the previously programmed camera movements.

This clip was then automatically processed by adding a soundtrack and animation in the form of logos. The final version of the clip prepared in this way was uploaded automatically to Google Drive, and then the program sent an e-mail to the address provided during registration with a thank you for your visit and a link to download the file.
