I was quite pleasantly surprised how 4kids handled Zane. Nothing major was changed/censored, and his voice was spot-on. Easily the best part of the GX dub.

I find it both interesting and a testament to how well crowler knows his students that he was the only one to notice and point out how much damage Zane had actually done to his body and how his heart had stopped once before

This arc was insane, the duels were so intense and the stakes were never the same. The last 5 or 6 duels of season 3 were down to the wire, legitimately the best Yugioh had to offer in terms of intensity

Okay seriously, as someone who watched this is a kid, this was the best freaking season they produced, particularly because of the darker tones, and after the last dub was released I was super pissed we weren't getting anything else

Zane was and will always be my favorite character from the GX. It's the reason why I have both a Cyber Dragon deck and a Cyberdark deck.

One other thing that was amazing about this duel was Zane didnt even use any of the Cyberdarks or Underworld Deck, just his classic Cyber Style

Man I don’t like that bastion disappeared permanently. I feel like they tried to kill him off. I would’ve loved to see him rematch Jaden in season 4. he was a genius and a good guy and had interesting deck recipes and was genuinely likeable. they shouldn’t have made him stay in the other dimension, and instead he’d come back to graduate with everyone
