In this 2nd part of this job I’m completing the process of converting this Epiphone Matt Heafy 7 string to an ‘ultra-wide 6 string’ for Peter whose large hands have always made regular 6 strings unplayable. The conversion took longer than normal because some of the time was spent putting right damage done in transit due to very poor packaging. Apologies for the blurry lack of focus from the iPhone in the early part of the video… I’ve not figured out the camera part of the phone yet! It may be that I accidentally switched off autofocus or something like that. Anyway, the guitar came together nicely - although on replacing the original electrics, right at the end of this video (I think), I noticed that there was some intermittent cut-out on the output from the guitar which led to me completely re-wiring the guitar off-camera to be sure.

ive used mettalic gold car paint on a strat before, works well but stinks advise mask.
ive used plasti koat but that never seems to dry and harden properly
