I feel like JMG has a voice akin to Carl Sagan. Calming, and yet educated and deeply interesting. Cheers to you for keeping so many in the know, and making everyday a school day!

I love these videos because YT keeps recommending videos with interesting, but usually outlandish, claims about supposed science, and especially space, discoveries. I can just ignore all that click bait thanks to these monthly videos. I know that if there’s actually an interesting discovery, it’ll be here. Excellent.

My favorite thing about this guys channel is he doesnt push a narrative of those fake tiktok headlines, he makes a catchy headline, then provides the evidence to back up that headline, and with these interesting discoveries videos, He provides it in terms that is easily understandable and digestable, Wish this dude was my teacher.

My four month old and i love listening to your videos. He even falls asleep. You're pretty much an educational white noise to my son 💕

My son is just six days old now and already listened to several episodes; fair to say it works better than my wife singing lullabies and though it has become somewhat of a running gag, he does not fall asleep immediately but listens to that voice telling him about the aspects of this amazing world in which we

It's so funny seeing stock footage of bread over JMG's commentary 😂 definitely not what we're used to

Speaking of resonances. Being a drummer of 43 years, this motivated me to play a resonance of;
- 2 with Left foot step HH
- Against 3 with Right foot bass drum
- Against 4 with Right hand ride cymb
- Against 6 with Left hand snare
Not too bad a limb independence excersise because their all even numbers divisible into each other. But then my girlfriend walked in and said "Dinner!" sending my four planet terrestrial resonance into disarray and flinging the right drumstick into interstellar space - rogue drumstick. Which then hit the dog sending it running....

@11:00, I know someone who worked on the deepwater uplift piping for the Hawaii power generation project. Not only does it work, but an added bonus is use of the cold, nutrient rich water for on-land mariculture. Quite a boon for the small community it serves.

This channel always delivers. Hey John, have you thought about adding a join option? Even if something small like 1-3$ a month I bet it would help out a lot.

It's becoming clear we need A.I. to make serious advances in Material Science. Because mapping 'all molecules' is like saying let's map all the sand grains on Earth based on color.

Oh wow... the genetic kill switch reminded me instantly of Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep / Bladerunner. I feel like Phillip K. Dick predicted this in a roundabout way (I think in the novel it wasn't a genetic kill switch as much as a convenient limitation of the tech but still, the seed was there and expanded by the movie).
