I have great respect for Inge as a player. He was with the Tigers during their dark days and was someone who could be penciled into the lineup pretty much anywhere. I was sad to see him go when the Illich/Dombrowski buying spree was on, but pleased that the A's and Pirates took a look. Inge, Fick and Fryman as some of my favourite overlooked Tigers.
