At what point will NATO and the UN realize that this war is a threat to ALL of us, which includes NATO/UN. A threat against them should be enough to justify taking action.

Edit: NATO is officially not going to defend considering their policy, they won't make an exception. But the UN is still our best bet. Zelenskyy signed the agreement, they are ready to join, and with an "immediate accession to the UN" they can, so everyone keep pushing for that 👍🏻

They intentionally hit the building next to the reactor to make the Ukrainians defending the facility retreat. It worked, they now have control of the reactors and the ability to cut the power to a large portion of Ukraine.

Unfortunately, these words will have no impact on someone so psychologically troubled. Putin won't stop until he has what he wants or if he is backed into a corner so far that continuing would mean the end of Russia. And if that happens, he may try and bring the rest of us down with him.

What's the use of the UN emergency meeting? It's all talk and no action. Calling for action does nothing unless there is actual action! The Security Council by majority vote should call for the placement of a Peacekeeping force and monitors on the Russo-Ukrainian border and within Ukraine immediately. IMMEDIATELY, NOW! Not next month, not when the shooting stops, NOW! Countries to serve on this force can come from neutral countries like Switzerland, Ireland, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, etc. This war has gone on long enough!
