Thanks for help. However be careful to not over extend the glovebox as I had to put the soft close unit back together.

VW should've put the prefilter in the engine compartment like they have in the China models then leaves and debris doesn't go down to the carbon filter.

I push the clamps up but the glove box wont come down !?!?

Could not get the glove compartment boom closed back on properly. It seems to be working, but that little arm thing on the passenger far side is something wrong. It’s not working right.
