‘A Simple Favor 2’ Director Addresses Blake Lively, Anna Kendrick Feud Rumors Delaying Release

After a social media user suggests that the movie is getting shelved “indefinitely” amid the ‘Gossip Girl’ alum’s ongoing legal battle with her ‘It Ends With Us’ co-star Justin Baldoni, and her alleged feud with her co-star Anna Kendrick, the film’s director responds to the rumor.

So she filed her complaint on Friday, December 20th. The New York Times reached out to Justin Baldoni at 9:45 p.m. on Friday, December 20th asking for a response to their story. They ran the story the next morning on Dec 21st. However, given that the New York Times said they poured over thousands of pages of documents, means either they already had all the text and emails before she filed the complaint or they're lying about pouring over the documents. Which is it?
It looks more like Blake's team planted the story with a New York Times before she ever filed her complaint.

I’m sure he did have a wonderful working experience with her on both movies. She respected him and didn’t try to steal his movie and her input was done in a way that still allowed the Director control and for her to feel like she was contributing. Doesn’t mean that Justin Baldoni’s experience wasn’t the complete opposite because he was a new Director and she maybe started out seemingly respectful but clearly didn’t end up that way.
