I like a good KSP career series like any other guy, but there is something I like specifically about realism overhaul series that I just like.

That was an impressive amount of persistence! Probably would've been easier with a more efficient landing profile that didn't need a heavy launcher to carry, but congratulations!

The recent kopernicus release has re-inspired me to try out RSS and RO. So first, thank you for the series... The styling, the music, the great camera pans... love all of it. And thank you for providing the mod list!

So, I have 2 questions though. I know RO and RP-1 aren't ready for 1.8.1 but what is it that prevents you from updating to 1.7.3 instead of 1.6.1? Also are you using RP-1 or RP-0, or is there even a difference?
