Newport is a nice city too. Nice aquarium, nice mall. I've been to all of them. Nice video!

Happy to see them driving through Peaselburg. I grew up there near Highland Ave. Where he came to a T in the road with the stop sign facing them and they turned right.

1:56 The moon is out early on this day! I’m a Covington resident. My family traveled here from Germany in the early 1930’s, settling in Covington and Cincinnati. Thank you for giving my city some publicity. It has its issues in some neighborhoods, just like our neighbor Cincinnati across the river, but it is an awesome city with amazing German history. And just an fyi, most of us Northern Kentucky people consider ourselves cincinnatians hahaha.

I’ve lived in the area my entire life. There are good and bad areas. You went to the lower areas but the people are great. You should come back and see the best of it. Hope you had fun.

I agree on the views of Cincinnati, the best ones are in the rear view mirror at 75 mph south bound headed for the hills lol. Every Christmas most south bound plates were Michigan and Ohio plates all headed for home. Before 75 was done it took us 10 hrs to make it to SE Ky on 23. Reading writing rt23 tells my life story. Rolling into Granny’s at 3am them still up waiting on us, gosh to go back.

Thank you for your video. Could you comment on what time of day it usually rains in Covington Kentucky.? Such as afternoon showers or rainy mornings? I'm thinking of relocating there in my retirement. Thank you again for taking the time to make this video.

I lived in Covington for over 10 years. Nextdoor neighbors abandoned their house. It caught fire and literally fell on my 4 room shotgun house- turning it into a pile of rubble. The city billed my homeowner's insurance for the cleanup of both properties (because a large portion of their house next door landed on my lot.) Only attorney I could find locally ran off with my retainer (Reported her to the Bar Association. If she wants to practice law here again she needs to pay restitution) ) I am finished with that city!

Midwest is a Census defined region but culturally it's really three different regions: 1) the Midlands which extends from north-central Oklahoma to central Pennsylvania through eastern Kansas and Nebraska, the majority of Missouri minus the southern Ozark region, most of Iowa, central Illinois, central Indiana and Central Ohio, -and extends south to include the Cincinnati region on both sides of the river. 2) The great lakes region which extends around the great lakes from and including most of upstate NY through southeast Wisconsin, and 3) the Upper Midwest which includes most of the Dakota's, northern Iowa, far Northeast Nebraska, all of Minnesota and most of Wisconsin and Northern Michigan. The lower Midwest minus Cincinnati area is really the upper South/greater Appalachia.
