Actually that's an artifact of the TV cameras of the day - they suffered from image persistence, where a very bright light leaves an afterimage on the vidicon (a vacuum tube image sensor). You can see this effect on many TV programmes of the day (those shot with TV cameras rather than film). The bright lunar surface leaves an afterimage which can be seen over the darker shape of the astronaut, but then (if you keep watching) it fades gradually.

Chapusin, You are so smart.Yes this was filmed in the hollywood branch of area 51 & they failed to realize that the studio wind generators that were blowing 50mph would arouse suspicion.Strangely no dust can be seen blowing in response to this same wind, & the astronaut's suits never ruffle in response either.

The reason you can't see the stars because the camera exposure was set to pick up the surface of the moon, which is very bright from the reflection of the sun. If it was set to record the stars half of the clip would be white.

Their suits are made of strong composite material and dust(sand) shouldnt move - have you ever been at the beach? - sea has little waves but sand is not moving.

this is a nice argument - but, instead of our atmosphere the moon has none.
The stars are only visible 4 us, because their ernergy becomes visible in the atmosphere

Not only that but any analogue (tube) camera will exhibit the same artifact when operating in low light.

Amazing how conspiracists in all their hard research glory, manage to miss a fairly basic aspect of tv technology.
