Hydatid cyst of lung is a parasitic lung infestation that requires adequate treatment with medicines. Some cases require surgery if the cyst is large and and does not reduce with medicines. Adequate and proper thoracic surgery is a must for good outcome . In this video the gentleman describes the ordeal that he and his young son had to undergo after a failed lung surgery for hydatid cyst. The patient was subsequently operated and a redo surgery was done at the Institute of Chest Surgery, Medanta , Gurgaon (Delhi NCR).

My father is in advanced stage of lung cancer . I am so tense .sir what option i have in this ? Pleural effuison nd right lung both test melligency positive.yet treatment not start.
