I rarely ever watch anime, but I remember when I was a kid I used to have a crush on Detective Conan, this was how things basically goes:
- the hands in pockets
- half face smirking mouth camera shots
- the "hmph" laugh
- pushing their eye glasses with their fingers or the eyes shadow where you can only see their mouth
- that calm and cool voice while explaining how the crime happened
- shining eye glasses in the darkness
- the shot where the character is in the darkness with a streak of light shining diagonally on them
