Just in case someone else runs into the issue I had: if you cant find Microsoft Sound Mapper you can try connecting both 'Wave in's to Virtual Cable 1

instead of changing the "wave in" to "Line 1" you have to keep it as default "Microsoft Soundmapper" in both

My wife and I have two headphones (one each). They are Bose QuietComfort 35 II Wireless Bluetooth Headphones. Can I use the Virtual Audio Cable in this situation? When I go to select the headphones in each of the two windows as you describe, they both have the same name. So when selected, it just put the sound twice into the same headphone. So, how do I connect two of the same headphones into VAC? Thank you!
